Personalized and Group Healing Sessions with Kahea

We know some of our participants need a break from the hurried lives they lead. We all need a reset button to get us back on track so we can do the work necessary to ensure the well-being of our community. If you need an uplift or want to energize your body or even heal an old wound that prevents you from living to your full potential, then make an appointment with Kahea for an inspiring eduational and wellness session.

Kahea is able to tap into the subtle realms and works with universal energies to help people heal old subconscious wounds that may have been long forgotten, but are still playing out in the person's subconscious on some level.  Kahea feels her purpose in life is to lovingly guide people to their own inner divinity. She hopes that all people can begin to reconcile the stories they carry that are no longer serving them, and start to acknowledge the truth of who they really are. Kahea customizes each treatment to the individual's needs.

About Kahea

Kahea Benke has a BS in Psychology, and is a licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master, 500-hr registered yoga teacher, modern day shaman, and lightworker. She was born here in Honolulu. Beginning at age 3, she moved to various cities in the mainland with her family, and in 2005 she returned home to Honolulu.

Kahea has always had a passion for serving people. She has held many jobs throughout the years, some of which include counseling juvenile delinquents and dual-diagnosed adults, traveling around the world as a tour director, and her current position working at Queen's Medical Center for the Integrative Wellness Department. As a life-long student, Kahea has taken innumerable trainings around the globe for different types of healing modalities and yoga. She specializes in helping people to heal their subconscious by guiding them towards self-realization and self-mastery. Inevitably, it will involve some form of energy work, and it may or may not include spiritual counseling, depending on what the client is open to receiving, or what their goals are for that particular session. Kahea believes that having an open mind and heart, presence, trust, and the ability to laugh, and not take yourself too seriously, are key factors in any healing.

Yoga with Keith

This yoga class is open to all levels of experience.  We have the yoga mats! Just bring yourself.

Keith began to practice yoga to complement a longtime practice of the zen martial arts and meditation. Yoga felt like a natural extension with its meditative qualities and the physical challenge of its asanas.  After about 10 years of practicing yoga regularly, he completed a two-year teacher training based on the teaching of BKS Iyengar with its focus on alignment and completed a three-year apprenticeship with a senior Iyengar teacher.  Over time, he has studied and practiced a variety of yoga traditions, meditation methods, pranayamas, and chanting. As he has gotten older, he has developed a deep desire to serve others, especially older persons and persons with disabilities or other limitations that make it difficult to enjoy a traditional yoga class and gain the health benefits of yoga practice.  He has completed a number of specialized trainings and workshops to better serve these groups of people. He has worked extensively with individuals who have disabilities.

Miranda has always had a love of music, dance and being ridiculous!  She knew that a desk job was not for her.  For the last 14 years combined, Miranda has been a personal trainer and taught many forms of dance and dance fitness all over the world.

Her biggest passions now are teaching Groove dance to adults, hip hop to kids and facilitating silent discos.  She has most recently moved to Hawaii to pursue her business, Hawaii Dance Bomb, a collaboration of all of these classes.

Miranda is passionate about making people feel at ease, relax and have a good time, and bringing communities together through dance.  She feels that she can help make all that happen with her dance events.
