Presentation Formats: Poster Session

General Information

A poster is a visual display of a program, paper, or project that is set up in an exhibit space during the conference and staffed by the creator(s). This year our poster presentations will be two hours long and strategically located to provide maximum participation and well as a celebratory atmosphere.

The poster session is a great opportunity for more personal dialogue with Pac Rim participants, in a relaxed atmosphere!

Illustrate your findings or information by displaying graphs, photos, diagrams and a small amount of text on the poster boards. Poster boards will be set on tabletops with room on the table for displaying small items. All materials should be prepared in advance of the conference.

Poster Setup

Each poster session author will be provided with a professional 4' x 8' poster board area, mounted on stands and mounting pins. The board will indicate the poster number in upper right or left corner. Authors are responsible for mounting their posters the morning before sessions begin and removing them at the end of the day.

Set Up and Removal Times

Posters must be hung in advance of the scheduled session day and remain in place all day, even though presenters are only required to be present at their board during their assigned presentation time. All poster boards must be cleared in preparation for the next day poster session of the day.
